FINE ART NEWBORN SESSIONS

Choosing the right newborn photographer is such an important decision. With 25 years of experience, a deep commitment to safety, and an artist’s eye for detail, I create timeless, elegant portraits meant to be cherished for generations. My extensive collection of props, themes, and clothing allows me to design a session that reflects your family’s style in the most beautiful and personalized way.

Location

I’m honored to serve families throughout Fort Bend County from my studio near historic downtown Richmond. I’m deeply grateful for the families who journey from all corners of the greater Houston area to trust me with their most meaningful moments.

Consultation

To ensure your session is everything you’ve envisioned, we’ll begin with a simple online questionnaire. After reviewing your responses, I’ll follow up with a brief phone call to clarify details and learn more about your style. With your input, I plan each session to complement the colors and themes in your home and your baby’s nursery. I also love incorporating meaningful family heirlooms—dad’s childhood teddy bear, mom’s christening gown, granddad's favorite cap or any sentimental piece that tells your family’s story. These thoughtful details help me design your sets in advance so everything is prepared and ready the moment you arrive for your appointment.

When to Schedule

Every pregnancy is beautifully unique, but I typically recommend BOOKING your newborn session sooner than later. It’s never too early to reserve your spot; in fact, I’m often one of the very first people (right after your partner) to hear your wonderful news. Because I pour so much care and intention into each experience, I only accept one NEWBORN (due date) per week. My calendar fills quickly, so early booking ensures you have a guaranteed place. I reserve your spot based on your due date, and once your baby arrives, simply give me a call so we can schedule your actual session date. Newborn sessions are ideal between 5–14 days old, but if you prefer a little more time at home, I am fully experienced in safely posing babies up to 6 weeks old

Props & Accessories

With a beautifully curated collection of hundreds of props, wraps, outfits, and backgrounds in a wide range of colors and themes, your baby’s photoshoot becomes a true reflection of your personal style and vision. Whether you’re drawn to a classic, timeless aesthetic or prefer something more whimsical and creatively designed, I offer an array of options that allow me to craft stunning, one‑of‑a‑kind images made just for you. You don’t need to bring anything to your session—I provide everything you’ll need, aside from any heirloom pieces we discussed during your consultation. Every detail is thoughtfully prepared so you can simply arrive, relax, and enjoy the experience.

Baby Safety

Safe newborn posing is the heart of every session I create, and safety is always my top priority. With over 20 years of experience and more than 500 babies welcomed into my studio, I bring a deep understanding of newborn safety to every moment. I also teach newer photographers how to create beautiful images while always prioritizing the wellbeing of their tiniest clients. Your baby will be supported, protected, and handled with the utmost care. My expertise allows you to relax and enjoy the experience, knowing your little one is in skilled, capable, and loving hands while I create stunning, heartfelt portraits

Professional Retouching

While the images straight out of the camera are already stunning, every photograph you select for your collection receives professional retouching in my custom signature style. Each image is carefully refined and enhanced to create a flawless, polished, and timeless final piece of art.
